Lindsway Bay is on the north side of the Milford Haven. Nearest parking is in St Ishmaels village by the sports field. From here take the asphalt footpath along the west side of the field to the coast path. A convenient seat here gives a panoramic view of the Milford Haven waterway. Follow the coast path about 200 yards eastwards. Access to the beach is down a steep zig-zag path with stone and concrete steps. A sign warns of sheer unprotected drops, but it's not that bad. At the bottom it is a short walk over the sandstone boulders to reach the sand.
The beach is sandy backed by cliffs of sandstones and mudstones, and looks out towards St Ann's Head. It is a favourite local spot for surfing, best around mid-tide. There are no facilities here, but the village of St Ishmaels has a shop, pub and toilets.
